Night 1. Arrive at your downtown hotel destination. Fairmont, Westin or perhaps Arc the hotel. Park the car. Visit the hotel gym for a quick work out to get rid of the car or jetlag. Get ready for and meet for a drink at the hotel bar.

Make your way to the byward Market, We recommend a few places especially Play (sharing small plates) , Steak, Empire Grill, Kinki and Social. There are many restaurants in the market and Ottawa is known for its food. We invite you to take in the Heart of Ottawa - The Byward Market

After dinner head to another restaurant for dessert or a night cap: Memories is a good one. Then head out for some dancing at one of the following clubs: Velvet Room, Maxwells, The Drink, Caliente salsa club. Or head to one of the trendy Martini Bars around like the Mercury Lounge and My Condo.

Day 2.
Order Room service and enjoy breakfast in bed. Take a stroll around the parliament buildings along the water and head up beside the National Art Gallery perhaps take in an exhibit while you are there. There is a great look out here [map], Nice place to bring a Starbucks, sit and chat. Grab a late lunch somewhere around downtown. We recommend Richtree Market in the Rideau Centre or any of the great patios in the Byward Market.

After a light lunch, head to the Rideau Centre for a few hours of shopping. Back to the hotel for a quick work or rent some skates and go skating on the rideau canal. 6km of skating awaits from 1 end to the other. We recommend putting your skates on or renting them in front of the Westin Hotel and skating all the way to Dows Lake where you will find Lago Bar Grill and View fine dining then take a taxi back

Take in a show at the National Arts Centre or at another of our great theatres.

Day 3.
Start with room service for breakfast or venture to one of the following breakfast / brunch places close by. Kinki, or Chez Lucien to name a few. Head back to the market for some more light shopping, this time try the stores along sussex and take in the beautiful embassy's and perhaps walk up to parliament and Majors Hill Park with a starbucks.
